The Hamner Theater is located within the Rockfish Valley Community Center on Rockfish School Lane (Rt. 635), on the right, 8.5 miles south of US-250 on VA-151, between Afton and Nellysford in Nelson County, Virginia. (Or, from the south, 0.3 miles north of VA-6W on VA-151, turn left.)
From Charlottesville, and East:
Take I-64 West, Exit 107 to Crozet/Yancey Mills.
Make a Left on US-250 West for 4.7 miles.
Turn Left onto VA-151 South for 8.5 miles.
Turn Right onto Rt. 635, Rockfish School Lane.
(If you reach VA-6 you’ve gone too far by 0.3 miles.)
Turn Right just after the recycling area, into the Rockfish Valley Community Center parking lot. The Theater entrance is around towards the back of the building.
Driving time from Charlottesville is roughly 30 minutes.
From Staunton & Waynesboro, and West:
Take I-64 East, Exit 99 to Afton/Waynesboro.
Keep Right at the fork in the ramp, to merge onto US-250 East.
Go Right, heading east for approximately 3.5 miles on US-250.
At the bottom of the mountain, turn Right onto VA-151 South for 8.5 miles.
Turn Right onto Rt. 635, Rockfish School Lane.

Head north on US-29 for 6.5 miles.
